What is the PoloLab interested in? 

Our lab focuses on developing new ways to assess hearing, vestibular, and multi-sensory function and to evaluate outcomes with hearing devices (hearing aids, cochlear implants) -- ultimately supporting children’s developmental trajectory and improving their interactions within their environment and with the people around them. 

We use a combination of electroencephalography (EEG) and behavioral measures using more naturalistic sounds such as narrated stories.
