Mechatronics and Intelligent Machines Laboratory (MIML)
Overview
Research in the MIML focuses on various robotic systems and the development of sensing and control algorithms. The lab has a history of developing safe human interactive control algorithms based upon the energetic passivity concept. Many activities within MIML overlap with those within the Fluid Power Research Lab (FPRL). As of summer 2023, the MIML is merging with the Fluid Power research lab.
