Explore the Nobel Prizes

Join with high school students from Minnesota, New Jersey (United States), the Netherlands and Sweden on Thursday, December 15, 2022 via Zoom beginning at 8:30 a.m. CST, 9:30 a.m. EST, and 3:30 p.m. CET to explore the significance of the Nobel Prizes and the Nobel Laureates as they relate to global food security.

Following a virtual tour of Nobel Peace Prize Museum in Stockholm, Sweden students will meet in small facilitated Zoom breakouts to discuss the achievements and impacts of one of the Nobel prize topic areas with globally minded peers from the various Youth Institutes.

The Global Youth Institute is a three-day experience for student delegates to discuss their findings with international experts and their peers, connect with other students from around the world. They also tour cutting-edge industrial and research facilities, and take part in symposium discussions with global leaders in science, industry, and policy. The Global Youth Institute hosted by the World Food Prize Foundation.
