Bio
Nicole Quinones, MPH (she/her/ella) is a health services researcher specializing in sexual and reproductive health policy, community births, and the historical and contemporary role of midwives in the United States. Nicole's work is informed by her experience at for CHOICES: Center for Reproductive Health, a nonprofit comprehensive reproductive health clinic that provides everything from abortion, midwifery-led prenatal and birth care, and gender affirming care. She was named an Emerging Scholar by the Society of Family Planning for her work on financial stress in abortion patients after the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization Supreme Court decision. Nicole firmly believes in advancing equitable community-based research practices, intentional research partnerships, and data equity. Her hope is to leverage her research skills to help organizations produce research in-house to answer their own research questions.
