The Earl E. Bakken Medical Devices Center Prototyping Facilities contain a large variety of equipment used for designing and testing medical devices, providing the resources needed to conceive, build and test medical device prototypes. Upon completion of the Safety Training, the Bakken MDC is open to engineering and medical students and other professionals.
Anderson Student Innovation Labs support research, coursework, student groups, hands-on projects, and entrepreneurial activities within CSE by providing state-of-the-art equipment and space.
The Makerspace provides equipment, materials, and tools that promote innovation and creativity. The space is free to all U of M Twin Cities faculty, students, and staff.
The Toaster offers reservable spaces for group meetings, workshops, and events; a maker space with hands-on equipment and supplies; and access to all things UMN innovation and entrepreneurship. The Toaster is free to all UMN students so that you can be free to connect, ideate, make, communicate, and launch.
