The MUPC 2025 program was emailed to all registered participants on April 21st!
We received 165 poster and paper presentation requests this year. All students who submitted the Request to Present by the deadline - April 2nd, were accepted and should plan to attend. Details were emailed to the primary presenter listed on the request to present.
Students may email mupc2025@umn.edu for questions about their presentation or updates needed. As of 4/24/2025, we are no longer making updates to the official MUPC 2025 program.
Students are encouraged to explore nearby Dinkytown or Stadium Village (each within 10-15 minutes walking distance). We will highlight some popular options recommended by UMN students.
We offered a limited number of free boxed lunches to students (the first 100). We may have some unclaimed lunches on the day of the event - please ask a MUPC 2025 event staff member on Saturday for more information.
The conference is FREE, generously sponsored by the Department of Psychology, the Institute for Child Development, and Huntington Bank.
The basic standard for MUPC is business casual. If you are seeking examples, this article provides some ideas.
In general, the expectation is that you should attend the entire conference, attending presentations and viewing the posters which you may find interesting as well as the Keynote address.
Take advantage of this conference opportunity to explore the research of other students and network with people from across the field and state of Minnesota. At the very minimum, you need to be present for the entire poster session or presentation session in which you are scheduled.
Students, we have a couple of quiet rooms reserved just for you - quiet places for studying during this end of term -- ask Conference staff to access Rooms 324 and 325 In Coffman.
MUPC will be held in Coffman Memorial Union. The East River Road Garage is attached to Coffman Memorial Union. Otherwise, there are many other parking options around the University of Minnesota campus. Weekend rates are $1/hour for each with a $13 Daily Maximum.
Anyone can utilize On Campus Transit to get around campus. If you are staying outside of campus, Metro Transit has many bus lines that come to the University of Minnesota campus as well.
MUPC 2026 will be confirmed at the faculty lunch.
