Deadline to submit a poster is October 1, 2024

Symposium attendees are also invited to submit a poster abstract for review. The deadline to submit a poster abstract is October 1st. Authors will be notified of acceptance by October 8th. 

Non-faculty presenters are eligible to compete in the poster competition. Judging will take place during the poster session. Cash prizes and certificates will be awarded to 5 winners. Cash prizes will be $200.

Guidelines for posters

• Posters should be no larger than 48” wide x 48” tall.  Push pins will be provided to secure the poster onto the poster board panel. 

• Set-up time for posters will be from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Monday, October 28th. Posters will be on display throughout the day, and authors can take them down at the conclusion of the symposium.

Deadline to apply for a post baccalaureate, graduate, or postdoctoral travel award is September 23, 2024

Post baccalaureate, graduate, or postdoctoral trainees who submit a poster are also invited to apply for a travel award. Recipients of the award will be reimbursed up to $1000 for allowable travel expenses with proof of itemized receipts (e.g., airfare, hotel, ground travel, meals – no alcohol), and given complimentary registration.

Applicants will be asked to upload a Curriculum Vitae (no longer than 4 pages) and a Statement of Future Directions (no longer than 1 page). Selected awardees will be notified by October 1st.
