This 5 day course is designed for scientists and engineers working in the chemicals or materials industries who would like to augment their domain-specific skill set with a fundamental understanding of machine learning methods and a practical toolkit for implementing them in small- to medium-scale applications. Relevant participants include R&D scientists, process engineers, product engineers, quality engineers, manufacturing engineers, production planners, and lab technicians, among other roles.
This course builds upon our M.S. program in Data Science for Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, our engagement with industry leaders through the Stahl Forum and IPRIME, and our 3DEAP National Science Foundation Research Traineeship program.
