Jayme Anderson MPH, RD
Farm to School and Early Care Consultant
Minnesota Department of Education
Jayme works to support Minnesota schools and early care centers as they build and grow their local food programs. She provides educational tools and resources, procurement strategies, technical assistance and training to stakeholders. Prior to this role, Jayme served as the Assistant Director of Child Nutrition Services at Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools, the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership Consultant for Dakota County and the Cooking and Nutrition Program Manager for Urban Roots, formerly the Community Design Center. Jayme has a Masters Degree in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree from the University of St. Thomas.
Sue Knott
Minnesota Ag in the Classroom
Education Specialist, Minnesota Department of Agriculture
Sue Knott’s agriculture roots were established on her family’s farm in southwestern Minnesota. Experiences in 4-H, FFA and helping raise crops and livestock, inspired her to earn a degree in agricultural education from the University of Minnesota. She taught high school Agricultural for nine years before joining the Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom team in 2012 as an Education Specialist. In this role, Sue works to empower K-12 educators to infuse food and agriculture into their curricula to grow agricultural literacy. Sue lives in Chaska, MN with her husband Andy and two daughters.

Kate Seybold
Minnesota Department of Agriculture
Kate works for the Minnesota Department of Agriculture as the Farm to Institution Coordinator, supporting institutional market development for Minnesota grown and raised foods. She coordinates statewide Farm to School and Early Care collaboration and programming aimed at increasing local food purchasing and agricultural education. Kate provides training and technical support for the AGRI Farm to School and Early Care Grant Program and co-leads the Minnesota Harvest of the Month program. She also works closely with partners across the state to support market access for small and emerging farmers, strengthen local and regional food systems, and support local and regional marketing efforts. Prior to her work at Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Kate spent six years leading Minneapolis Public Schools’ Farm to School program, overseeing the district’s local food procurement and education.
Carrie Stowers
Ag External Relations & Engagement Manager
Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
Carrie is currently the Ag External Relations & Engagement Manager for the Farm at the Arb sharing the plant to plate story where it is her honor to connect guests of the Arboretum with the Minnesota agriculture community. She also serves as the co-chair for the annual Schoolyard Garden Conference which takes place at the Arboretum for educators and gardeners. A fun fact about this proud Gopher, Carrie still uses the same Employee number that she received as a Freshman at University of Minnesota- Morris when she was 17 years old.
