Paige Poppe

Paige Poppe is a watercolor artist & designer originally from Scottsdale, Arizona. After leaving her native state for college, Paige returned and saw the desert with fresh eyes. She found a new appreciation for landscapes, and her artwork is a modern, vibrant spin on nature. It is her joy to share her vision through painting and remind you of nature’s beauty.

Moving to Northeast Minneapolis in 2017 opened Paige’s eyes to the lush landscape of Minnesota, serving as fresh new inspiration for her work. Paige spent nearly every summer in Minnesota with her family, and with her colorful being a nod to the playful spirit of her childhood, she has enjoyed being surrounded by the Midwest landscape and experiencing the magic of seasons.

Paige’s signature “Technicolor Botanical” collection of watercolor paintings interprets the desert in rainbow hues and is a nod to the playful spirit of her childhood. These pieces continue to stand as the most popular from her body of work since painting them poolside in the spring of 2015. The collection is now available in new forms as art prints, greeting cards, enamel pins, and jewelry within her growing line of 400+ products. Paige’s work can be found at retailers across the country, including Phoenix’s Sky Harbor Airport & West Elm, and she sends out art daily from her sunny studio.

A big THANK YOU to Paige for designing the MIKIW 2023 logo!

Photography

Sabrina Kennelly

Hello! Thank you for shooting with Sabrina Kennelly Photography at the 2023 MIKIW conference! As a Minnesota native, I love having the opportunity to come back to my home state and shoot events such as the MIKIW conference.

A bit about myself: I started freelance photography in 2012 shooting for small businesses and events in the Twin Cities. Ten years later, I now reside in Los Angeles and work as a freelance fashion and lifestyle photographer. Throughout the years, I have loved fostering my relationship with the University of Minnesota including hosting a yearly portrait session with the Women of Medicinal Chemistry Organization. I would like to thank the 2023 MIKIW conference organizers and the University of Minnesota for allowing me to shoot at this event.
