Michael Hott
I am a Postdoctoral Associate working in the areas of Mathematical Physics intersecting Analysis. My Postdoctoral Advisor is Mitch Luskin. In our workgroup, we are currently studying the fascinating behavior of moiré materials in the context of a Simons targeted grant on 'moiré materials magic'. I am also working on the derivation of Quantum Boltzmann equations from first principles. My work generally focuses on the derivation of effective theories for large interacting quantum systems.
My preferred pronouns are he/him/el or they/them/ellos
