Hello, I am Michael (Mike) Iselin. I am an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, Go Gophers! I hold the Accounting Research Center Professorship and I also serve as an Economic Research and Policy Scholar for the Conference of State Bank Supervisors where I help collect and analyze data on community banks across the country. Prior to joining the University of Minnesota I earned my PhD from The Ohio State University and my BBA from the University of Notre Dame.
I'm passionate about spending time with my family and watching my children grow up, about conducting research on how new accounting rules and bank regulations change the way that firms make decisions, about teaching undergraduate students and piquing their interest in accounting, and about both curling and golf.
