Vacation and Leaves
Paid Time Off (PTO)
22 days per contract year. These days are designed to cover vacations, unexpected absences such as sick days and funeral/bereavement leave. Up to 5 additional days of academic leave to attend conferences, sit for exams, or practice search are permitted at the Program Director's discretion.
Trainees are given alternate days off for holidays worked.
Maternity, Paternity, and Adoption Leave
6 weeks maternity leave, paid at 100%
4-6 weeks of additional disability pay benefit for birth mothers
6 weeks paid paternity or adoption leave upon request
*Leaves of absence may extend training and delay board eligibility.

Up to $1,000 reimbursement per year for conference expenses, medical association memberships, web-based courses, clinical textbooks and medical journals, and educational or clinical software.
