The Minnesota Cattail Collaborative (MCC) is a research-to-application project that supports lake and watershed partners across Minnesota in testing a small-scale invasive cattail removal protocol and sharing what works, where, and why. This project is a partnership between Minnesota Sea Grant and the Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center's Lab to Lakes Program.
Funding for this project was provided by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund, as recommended by the Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center (MAISRC) and the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR); additional funding was provided by Minnesota Sea Grant (MNSG) through award NA24OARX417C0033-T3-01SS02 Mod 9 from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), U.S Department of Commerce.

All materials for participants, including participant expectations, volunteer waivers, photo release forms, instructions for various aspects of the project, and any other materials we have assembled, are available in the Participant Materials tab. Once you have collected data, this can be shared in the Data Upload and Photo Upload (for image files, including site photos and datasheet scans) tabs.
