M-ASCEND
Hosted by the Masonic Cancer Center, this NIH-funded, paid two-week summer program is for teachers of high school STEM and medical courses. Spend one week gathering resources to implement in your curricula (lectures by researchers, example lab activities, and tours of campus resources) then one week shadowing MCC researchers to learn more about current lab techniques and career opportunities. Priority is given to applicants who teach students from communities underrepresented in STEM according to the NIH.
