The static and dynamic architecture of an organic thin film has a profound influence on the movement of excitation energy and mobile charges. We use two-dimensional IR (2D-IR) spectroscopy to measure molecular structure and vibrational dynamics in organic thin films.
The behaviors of molecules at interfaces between dissimilar organic materials often dictate device performance. We use vibrational SFG spectroscopy to measure structure and dynamics of molecules at electronic interfaces in response to electrical stimuli.
