Law Education Technologies (Ed Technologies) serves the Law School Community by providing audio/video recording options and conferencing support for classrooms and event spaces.
Ed Technologies is a specialty department within Law IT to provide Minnesota Law faculty, staff and students the support to have classes and events recorded and to distribute whether it be to an internal or public audience. This includes support of web conferencing application Zoom as the main mode of recording and allowing for remote/hybrid participation in classrooms and events.
Ed Technologies responsibilities include:
Train and support faculty, staff and students on using classroom/event space technology for web conferencing and recording
Collaborating with the Office of Classroom Management [OCM] and Office of Information Technologies (OIT) to provide consistency of services and maintenance of classroom technology at the Law School
Keeping track of and upgrading technology as needed for the Law School
Manage and support recording of trial practice sections
Standard equipment and service requests to Ed Technologies may include:
Provide web conferencing equipment and support for events
Classroom/Event recording support
Operational instruction on reservable A/V equipment
You can reserve our services and equipment through a submission of a Technology Reservation Form.
We provide formal descriptions of our services through the Ed Technologies Service Level Agreement.
