Representative Bios

Violet was born and raised in Northwest Indiana, but went to undergrad at the University of Denver for History and Socio-Legal Studies. She spends her time outside the dark basement of Mondale watching bad early 2000s cooking shows, changing her hair color every other month, and attending the local gay bars. Her professional interests include the fields of juvenile justice and education law. 

Ronni grew up in Missouri before city-hopping to DC and Chicago for undergrad and grad school, where she earned degrees in history. She is interested in commercial litigation and IP, particularly in the food and sports industries. Outside of school she can be found reading romance novels, doing yoga, and eating cosmic brownies. 

Sarah is from Lino Lakes, Minnesota. Prior to law school, she gained a B.A. in English Education, at the University of St. Thomas where she also got her 5-12 English teaching license. When she's avoiding the law school she is coaching her 14U softball team, spending time with her brother (an undergrad at the U), and rewatching Ted Lasso with her roommate. She hopes to shed some light on in-house lawyering, breaking the stereotype that lawyers can only have careers in litigation or transactional areas. 

Gerald is from Clintonville, Wisconsin and received his degree in English and Art History from St. Olaf College. Gerald transferred to Minnesota from Seattle University School of Law. Gerald is interested in practicing administrative and regulatory law. Outside of the law school, Gerald is a big Denver sports fan, likes to ski, and loves attending live sports events.

Fide is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She studied Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. Her professional interests include employment law, business law, and nonprofit law. Outside of law school, Fide enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and spending too much time on the internet.

Brynn grew up as a military kid, moving coast to coast, but calls the Kansas City area home. She studied Political Science and Psychology at the University of Kansas and worked for a District Attorney before starting law school. Outside of law school, Brynn enjoys reading, attending concerts, watching hockey, and playing volleyball. 

EL is from Sneads Ferry, North Carolina. In undergrad, she studied Sociology and Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. Prior to law school, she worked as a server and bartender, where she got a lot of steps in. Her main interest is Fred, her baby basset hound and amateur legal scholar. 

CC grew up in Albuquerque, NM and spent most of her adult life in Austin, TX. She was an American Sign Language interpreter prior to coming to law school. In her (copious) free time, CC enjoys running ridiculously far, cooking delicious food, and generally enjoying this ride called life.

Keegan grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He went to the University of Minnesota for undergrad, where he studied political science, history, and global studies. Prior to law school, he interned at the Hennepin County Public Defender’s Office, and he hopes to continue working in public defense after graduating. When not stuck in the Mondale sub-plaza, he enjoys watching the Timberwolves, hiking up Minnesota’s many mountains, and scoping out trees from which to hang a hammock and take a quality nap.

Deena is from Chicago, IL and received her degrees in Political Science and International Studies from Loyola University Chicago. Outside of law school, Deena can be found FaceTiming her nieces and nephew, rewatching Schitts Creek, or perfecting a new recipe on her (awful) electric stove. 

Matt is originally from Dallas, Texas. He attended Baylor University, graduating with a master's degree in Sports Pedagogy before spending five years as a history teacher and football coach. He's currently exploring various legal interests, from civil litigation to public advocacy. In his free time, Matt can be found binge-reading a fantasy novel, dancing at the gym, or cheering against all odds for his Dallas Cowboys.

Izzy grew up a Badger in Madison, Wisconsin before becoming a Gopher for her undergraduate career where she earned her degree in Finance and Business Law. In between her undergrad and law school she worked in M&A as a financial consultant, as well as volunteered training rescue horses in Australia. After law school she is interested in continuing her career in M&A. Outside of a professional environment, she can be found running around Minneapolis lakes, cheering on the Packers and doting on her cat Suki. 

Chloe grew up in Northfield, Minnesota. She attended Luther College, in Decorah, Iowa for undergrad, where she studied Communication Studies, Law & Values, and Identity Studies. Outside of school, she spends her free time going for walks around Minneapolis to try new food, playing intramural team sports (badly), and hanging out with her black cat, Wybie.

Patrick grew up in Shorewood, Illinois. Prior to law school he graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in public relations with a minor in English. In his free time he loves photography, writing poetry, and caring for his plants.
