Law Council serves as the voice of the student body at UMN Law. We work to foster community, advocate for student needs, and enhance the law school experience through a variety of initiatives:
Build Community by planning and annual traditions like Barristers' Ball as well as smaller events focused on student well-being.
Advocate for students by regularly communicating concerns and feedback to the UMN Law administration.
Support student groups through funding for events, academic initiatives, and social programming.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to improve policies, procedures, and the overall law school environment.
Keep students informed with timely updates and announcements from the Law School.
