I am the Bob and Mary Litterman Director of the of the Heller-Hurwicz Economics institute and the Richard and Beverly Fink Professor of Economics at the University of Minnesota.

I am a macro economist and a fellow of the Econometric Society. My research covers a range of macroeconomic topics including, development and growth, public economics, heterogeneous agents in macro, inequality, innovation and productivity gorwth, business cycles and sovereign debt.
