Generally, the admissions committee is looking for students with demonstrated academic success in areas related to the field of journalism and mass communication, strong writing skills, evident interest in the major and its connection to a student's goals, and a program plan that reflects attention to detail and thoughtful planning.

Note: Students accepted into a Hubbard School major are required to complete an online New Major Planning canvas module in order to formally declare your major.
