Shahnameh or the Persian Book of Kings is one of the world's longest epic poems. It was composed by Ferdowsi between 977-1010 CE. Shahnameh has many connections to pre-Islamic Iranian texts. In these sessions, Dr. Azodanloo explores the connections between Shahnameh and ancient historical and mythological Iranian texts.
