Hi! My name is Cooper and I'm a fourth year physics graduate student working on neutrino physics in the DUNE collaboration. I'm from Minneapolis, went to Tufts University in Massachusetts for undergrad, and now I'm back in Minnesota. In my free time I enjoy trying new crafts, taking long naps, and consuming sci-fi media.

Hello! My name is Gillian and I am a third year physics graduate student working in biophysics. I grew up outside of Madison, Wisconsin and I went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison for undergrad. I enjoy crafting, playing video games, gardening, and spending time with my cat, Bug.

I'm a third year interested in dark matter physics. I grew up in Bangalore, India and went to the University of Illinois for college. I like taking advantage of all the lakes around us no matter the season and playing video games when I'm at home.

Hello, I'm Kaylyn and I'm a second-year physics graduate student doing experimental biophysics research. I'm from the Grand Rapids, Michigan area, but I attended undergrad in the south. In my free time I love to draw, go for long walks in the local park, serve as a living bed for my two cats, and play a wide assortment of TTRPGs, card games, video games, and board games.

Hello all! My name is Madison and I am a second year physics graduate student working in experimental high energy physics. I grew up in southern Kentucky and I graduated from the University of Louisville with a BS in Applied Physics in 2025. I spend most of my free time painting, seasonally redecorating my home, and curating mood-specific playlists. I also have a wonderful cat named MeetBag. He is the "official" GWiPA mascot! I spend lots of time hanging out with him at home; He is a joy.

Hi! I am a second-year graduate student working on solar X-ray instrumentation with Dr. Lindsay Glesener. I grew up in Austin, Texas then went to Wellesley College in Massachusetts for undergrad. Outside of grad school, I enjoy playing soccer, reading, and exploring restaurants and cafes.

Hello! I am a third year graduate student studying neutrinos with DUNE. I wanted to join GWiPA because I believe that improving the climate for others is always a cause worth my time. When I am not busy with being a grad student, I love watching movies with my cat, Mina!

Hi! My name is Meetbag and I'm Madison's cat. I used to be a stray cat living in Decorah, Iowa outside an airbnb, but when I was found wandering outside in sub-freezing tempertures during the 2026 GWiPA cabin trip, I was adopted! I got my name from the cabin trip guest book: some previous guests had named me 'meatball', but we misread it as 'meetbag' and the rest is history.
