Global Medicine Pathway Benefits:
We are the only medicine residency in the U.S. whose global medicine pathway allows further certification in tropical medicine. Completion of all of our pathway requirements allows residents to sit for the exam for the internationally recognized Certificate of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine & Travelers’ Health (CTropMed®) from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, or the Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene from the UK-based Royal College of Physicians. We are the only residency program in the U.S. that offers the ability to receive these certifications in clinical tropical medicine during the course of your training!
