The Energy and Environmental Policy Club (EEPC) is excited to announce our climate roundtable lunch series starting February 28th! Are you interested to know where climate policy comes from? Join us for discussions with professionals from the public, nonprofit, and private sectors on how they work to advance climate action in their respective fields. These roundtable discussions will offer a great opportunity to learn about the quickly evolving landscape of climate policy and the challenges and opportunities of working in each sector. We will ask our panelists about the stakeholders they engage with, the recent legislative changes at the state and national levels impacting their work, and their greatest accomplishments in their fight for climate action.
These roundtable discussions offer an opportunity to listen to a facilitated panel discussion as well as an opportunity for you to ask questions of our panelists. There will then be time for you to connect with the panelists and other attendees one on one after the panel discussion and enjoy a FREE lunch. Join us in the Humphrey School's Wilkins Room 215 from 11:30-12:30 on Tuesday, February 28th for our first roundtable with experts from the public sector. We are excited to announce that Luke Hollenkamp, the Sustainability Program Coordinator for the City of Minneapolis, Olivia Hovland, the Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Coon Rapids, and David Ponder, the Environmental Analyst for the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services will be our panelists for the first roundtable. We will also be holding subsequent roundtables on March 14th and March 28th on the nonprofit and private sectors. Please email eepc@umn.edu with any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you there!
