About Me

I am a mathematician who recently transitioned out of academia.  This webpage is from the academic portion of my life.  I am currently looking for a position related to data science or finance, so if you are hiring (or know someone who is) please feel free to reach out! My email is below and my resume is here.  And check out my GitHub page if you're interested; it has the repository for the research that I did in machine learning as a postdoc as well as some other data science projects.

My last academic post was as a postdoctoral associate at DIMACS-Rutgers with Konstantin Mischaikow.  I conducted research in machine learning for dynamical systems.  To see more details, check out the Machine Learning and Dynamics page.

Before my postdoc I completed my PhD in mathematics at the University of Minnesota; my advisor was Richard McGehee.  I have a description of the research that I did there on the Math and Climate page.  Before that I received my B.S. in math from the University of Southern California.

If you're interested, you can find a list of all of the courses that I taught on the Teaching page.
