Creator Standardization Working Group (April 2022 -December 2022)
Creator field data contains many acronyms and inconsistencies in naming conventions between the institutional partners. Standardizing Creator field data would help clarify display on both the landing page and within the citation widget. It would also improve user experience when sorting items by creator. The proposed working group will come up with guidance for how to standardize this important field, while keeping potential workflow considerations in mind.
