I am currently working as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at the State University of New York, Binghamton. I obtained my Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University. After finishing my doctoral studies, I worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications, University of Minnesota. My postdoc involved collaboration with the Kern Center for the Science of Healthcare Delivery, Mayo Clinic. My research focuses on solving complex scheduling and resource allocation problems encountered within healthcare delivery and production systems. I am also interested in the theoretical and computational aspects of Integer Programming, Bi-level Optimization, Robust Optimization and Large-Scale Optimization.
