Volunteer Registration & Availability
Registering as a New Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering. As a new volunteer, please select, “I am registering and providing my availability. I have not previously filled out the Afghan Evacuees Health Volunteer Recruitment Form.” The Afghan Health Volunteer Recruitment Form has registration questions that are necessary to complete and will guide our deployment process.
Please feel free to share the volunteer z link or QR code with any potential volunteers you may know as well: z.umn.edu/AfghanHealthcareVolunteerRecruitment
Registered Volunteers
As new dates become available and as we learn more, registered volunteers can update their available by also accessing z.umn.edu/AfghanHealthcareVolunteerRecruitment. You can select "I am updating my availability. I have previously filled out the Afghan Evacuees Health Volunteer Recruitment Form."
We are asking that volunteers that have previously joined Mobile Health Initiative at past events to register as a new volunteer on the Afghan Health Volunteer Recruitment Form, as there have been questions added that are pertinent to this deployment.
Notification of Deployment
When requested to volunteer, you will receive a message from mobilehealth@umn.edu with the following subject:
SUBJECT: Confirm your deployment (*date and time*) for Afghan Health Evaluations Volunteering
When you are deployed, in the email the Process Flow will be made available to you in addition to other documents pertinent to your service.
