I am a postdoctoral researcher with the Minnesota Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Minnesota.

My research focuses on the relationship between mind, life, and the environment. In my work, I draw on insights from the enactive approach to cognition, developmental systems theory, and extended interpretations of evolutionary biology. I am also interested in socially engaged philosophy of science and public philosophy more generally, especially regarding issues in sustainability.

I am currently working with Alan C. Love on the John Templeton Foundation grant project "The creative role of stress in evolution and development".
