Biography: My career in education started in 2018.  I was a 3rd grade reading tutor at Nellie Stone Johnson through the Read Corps program.  In 2020 I became a 7th grade English teacher for KIPP, and for the last three years I have been at Great MN Schools working as Senior Manager of Community Engagement. I ran a grant program with $300,000 of funding with 5 projects spanning across 10 different community organizations with different ethnic demographics. Most recently I have been the Program Manager at Saint Paul Promise for a program called Co Lab, which is a 12 week workforce opportunity for 18-24 year olds. This program helps youth explore and align with their career interest.
