Biography: Cori Knuckles (they/she) is a passionate community relations builder and licensed social worker with more than eight years of experience in community engagement, partnership development, and direct service with children, youth, and families. They are currently the ConneQT Program Manager at Avenues for Youth, leading a community-based host home program that provides 2SLGBTQI+ youth culturally responsive housing within their community of choice. Their professional commitment revolves around working with and for BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, utilizing capacity-building and movement-building strategies with a philosophy rooted in accountability, collaboration, and education. It's a mission that underscores every interaction and initiative, ensuring that the values of social, racial, economic, and disability justice are integral to our collective success. Her growth and development as a leader is a testament to the importance and value of culturally responsive programs and cross-sector collaboration.
