This panel addresses the human rights and dignity of university students by presenting UFES's (Universidade Federal do Espirito Santo) affirmative action efforts and the changing profile of students in federal Brazilian universities: predominantly female, young, and increasingly Black and Indigenous. This shift requires institutional policies to evolve from access to persistence. The university's "face" demands that it combat racism, violence, and misogyny, alongside support for single mothers and dignified aid for Quilombola and Indigenous students. The challenge is to convert social justice into dignified trajectories, allowing everyone to experience the university to its fullest.
