Alcohol and Nicotine Decisions

The Alcohol and Nicotine Decisions curriculum series shares facts about substance use and provides interactive activities to help student's make safe choices when presented with negative peer pressure. These corresponding videos were developed in partnership with 4-H YTY teen teachers and include quizzes that test student's knowledge on alcohol and nicotine use and abuse.

Smoking can make it difficult to breathe. Some people who smoke get a disease called emphysema (em-fa-zee-ma) where air sacs in your lungs are destroyed. CLICK HERE for an activity that demonstrates how difficult breathing can be if you start smoking.
