Join us for the Women in AI & Data Science (WiADS) Conference, an inclusive event celebrating the voices and achievements of women, women-identifying, and non-binary professionals shaping the future of AI and data science. Choose to attend in person for the full conference experience — including exclusive sessions, networking opportunities, lunch, refreshments, and limited-edition WiADS swag — or online for live-streamed talks and virtual engagement. The 2026 conference will take place in person on October 26, 2026, at the McNamara Alumni Center and will also be live-streamed online.

How It Works
How It Works
Our Pay It Forward program provides a select number of fully funded tickets for students who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial constraints.

Add a Pay It Forward add-on to your registration to sponsor attendance, food, and beverage for a local studentwho would otherwise be unable to attend. As a thank you, your name badge will feature a special Pay It Forward icon during the event. Note that PIF tickets are not tax-deductible.

Because these passes rely directly on generous donor contributions, ticket availability is limited and granted as funding becomes available.
Apply: Fill out the quick form at z.umn.edu/PIFapp. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Get Approved or Waitlisted:
If approved: You’ll receive an email with a 100%-off promo code to complete your registration.
If passes are currently full: You’ll be placed on our waitlist. Additional passes are awarded in the order applications were received as new donor funding comes in.
* Note: If you’re thinking about attending in person, we recommend purchasing an All Access Pass. Upgrading from a Virtual Pass to an All Access Pass later may not be an option, depending on ticket availability and current pricing.
* Registration for this event is required. Select tickets for an All Access Pass (virtual and in-person access) or a Virtual Pass. Registration for All Access Passes will close on October 18th 11:59PM or when the event reaches capacity. Registration for Virtual Passes will close October 22nd at 11:59 PM.
