AMP is the software system used by the Office of Admissions to process candidate applications. As an interviewer, you will use AMP to sign up for interview dates* and submit your candidate evaluations.
Please note that you will first need to complete the Cycle 2025 Interviewer Registration form and receive confirmation from medadmis@umn.edu before you can access AMP.

1. Go to amp.medadmissions.umn.edu.
2. Using the Faculty/Admin Login tab, click on Faculty Sign In to enter your UMN account credentials.

1. Under General Admission Interview in the left hand menu, select Availability. The Availability tab will show a calendar view of all interview dates for the current month. You can also view other months by clicking on NOV, DEC, etc.
2. Click on Click To Add/Edit Availability for the date you'd like to register.
3. You will then see a list of all the available interview times for that specific day. Click on the radio button next to Available to sign up for the corresponding time.
4. Click on the blue Save Availability button to submit. You can then return to the Availability calendar to sign up for another date by clicking on the gray Cancel / Back to calendar button.
5. For your reference, all of the dates you've already selected will be listed in a box at the bottom of the Availability tab. The Assigned column will be populated with Yes when a candidate has been assigned to you.
Cancellations
Faculty/Staff:
If you are no longer able to interview after signing up, please send an email with your cancellation to medadmis@umn.edu within 24 hours of your interview, when possible.
Students:
If you are no longer able to interview after signing up, please do ALL of the following as soon as possible: 1) remove your name from the Cycle 2025 Student Interviewer Dashboard, 2) update your RSVP to "No" on the Google calendar invitation, AND 3) email your cancellation to Nedy Windham at windh003@umn.edu.
1. On the General Admission Interview page, the name of your candidate will be listed under Applications with the Interview Day and Start Time.
2. To open the candidate's evaluation form, click on View under the Form heading next to their AMCAS ID.
3. The General Admission Interview Form will open with the Interview Questions on the left and the Interview Evaluation on the right. The form will include the candidate's name, preferred first name, pronouns, and phone number.
4. To submit the form, click on the blue Submit button at the top of the Interview Evaluation box.
