Hobbies

I enjoy being outdoors, especially running and hiking, and I was on my school’s cross country and track teams. I’m hoping to join a running club at Michigan. I played violin in my high school orchestra for all four years, made some of my closest friends through it, and traveled for competitions, including a trip to Orlando, Florida. I also love to bake and cook. Every Christmas, I make a bûche de Noël (French Yule log cake) for my family.

Travel

I love traveling and definitely want to study abroad. We visit my dad’s side of the family in Egypt every few years and just went last winter. We also visit my mom’s family in Tunisia every summer. One of my favorite family trips was to Hawaii. The beach is definitely my favorite place. 

Family

I have a younger brother who is going into eighth grade. My dad studied electrical engineering at Michigan, so I grew up a big fan and it has always been one of my top choices.

Friends

I love spending time with friends, whether we’re going out or binge-watching shows and movies together.
