Working-Class Pedagogy

College often makes inequality worse, despite being thought of as a space that provides opportunities for low-income and working-class students to improve their social and economic outcomes. In addition, COVID-19 has exacerbated the gap between well-resourced and low-resourced students. A lot of the solutions to inequality in higher education lie in structural changes to colleges and universities.

So what can an individual instructor do to provide equal opportunities for success to ALL students in their courses?

This website is dedicated to thinking about pedagogical practices using a class-based lens.
