Rishika Mukherjee

President

Rishika is a junior majoring in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Sustainability. She is a part of the Engineering Honors Program. She is excited to give back to WAA this year and inspire others. Outside of school she enjoys to do puzzles, go on walks with her dog, and travel to new places

Nadia Poopat

External Vice President

Nadia is a sophomore majoring Aerospace Engineering. She is excited to welcome new members to WAA and learn more about the aerospace industry. Her other hobbies include playing volleyball, baking, and going to farmers markets.

Beyonce Cruz

Internal Vice President

Beyonce is a junior from San Antonio, TX studying Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Philosophy and International Engineering. Outside of school Beyonce enjoys tennis when the weather is nice and doing puzzles when it’s not.

Meg Strand

Treasurer

Meg is a junior studying Aerospace Engineering and minoring in Environment. She is excited to travel to SWE and WACS conferences with WAA in 2025. Outside of academics, she is a member of Triathlon Club and loves all kinds of outdoor activities, as well as traveling and reading.

Elise Segal

Conference Co-Chair

Elise is a sophomore majoring in Space Science and Engineering with Space Instrumentation. She is passionate about learning more about aerospace contributions. Her other hobbies include reading, baking, quilting and biking.

Katherine Neigh

Conference Co-Chair

Katherine is a freshman majoring in Space Science Engineering with a specification in Space Instrumentation with minors in political science and astronomy/astrophysics. She is looking forward to working towards the annual women in Aerospace conference to help inspire all Women in Stem. Her other hobbies including dancing, building legos, reading books, and writing!

Rafaela Galera Rogano

Outreach Chair

Rafaela is a sophomore in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering. She is excited to expand WAA's impact in the community, by engaging in more outreach events that encourage girls to become engineers! Her other hobbies include weight lifting, running, cooking, reading, embroidery and anything soccer related

Tilly Jasinski

Mentorship Chair

Tilly is a junior in Aerospace Engineering. She is excited to promote mentorship in WAA and help foster community within the department. Her hobbies include hiking, card games, and watching movies.

Zoe Smith

Membership Chair

Zoe is a junior majoring Aerospace Engineering with minors in math and CS. She is looking forward to maintaining the merch quality from last semester while getting some cost reductions for WAA members. Her campus hobbies include swimming, skiing, and puzzles!

Jamie Hendrickson

Public Relations Chair

Jamie is a sophomore in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Music. She is excited to help expand WAA's reach to other students. Her hobbies include performing with various campus ensembles, figure skating, and being outdoors.
