Advocacy Application Option #3: Exercise Social Media Advocacy
Options to apply this skill include:
Create a post on X (140 characters, consider adding a link or picture)
Create an Instagram post (picture(s), text blurb), and ask @umichpeds_advocacy to post it or post it yourself
Be sure to review your post with Dr. Naughton or Dr. McLaughlin prior to sending it on.
REQUIRED: Watch this amazing video by our own pediatric hematologist and social media advocate Dr. Angela Weyand (also known as @Shematologist, MD !!). You can watch it directly from this page.
Fun fact: Dr. Weyand organized the hugely successful Twitter campaign #HCWvsHunger (article linked here).
