Dr. Christine M. Hammond has a long list of credentials but some of the more noteworthy positions include serving as the President of Mid Michigan College from June 24, 2014, until her retirement in June 30, 2020. She then went on to found Leadership Perspectives, Inc., consulting on leadership development for individuals and groups in higher education. In addition she has served as an Interim executive leader through the Registry for College and University Presidents.
Dr. Julie Ann Snyder began her career in higher education in 1996 at Albion College in Albion, Michigan where she served for two years as a Residence Hall Director and First Year Issues Coordinator. Dr. Snyder spent a year at Arizona State University as a Complex Coordinator and 17 years at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) . Dr. Snyder worked for the Office of Residence Life at BGSU (1999-2004) serving as an Area Coordinator/Assistant Director of Residence Life (199-2004); Associate Dean of Students and Director of the Sidney A. Ribeau President’s Leadership Academy at BGSU (2008-2016). Currently, Dr. Snyder serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor & Dean of Students at the University of Michigan-Flint.
Dr. Snyder earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh (1994), her master’s degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (1996), and her Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Bowling Green State University (2008). Her dissertation research focused on practices that can increase retention and graduation for low-income students.
Jazlynne leads sustainability culture and behavior change initiatives through events, trainings, workshops and educational programs. She manages the UM-Flint Planet Blue Ambassador program which introduces students, staff, and faculty to sustainability initiatives at the University of Michigan and how they can lead the charge with individual actions. Jazlynne also co-chairs the Sustainability Committee, assisting in bringing new initiatives to the campus community. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Her formal introduction to sustainability was through her research projects, focusing on alternative lawn perceptions and predatory locations of blood plasma donation clinics. She has interests in environmental justice, cultural sustainability, and epigenetics. In her free time, Jazlynne is most likely playing Stardew Valley, reading a library book, or cycling through the many hobbies she's picked up over the years.
Adeola, founder of Wombman Unspoken, is a trained holistic fertility doula, yoni steam practitioner, and author. As a member of Black Feminist Futures, she advocates for women's equity and self-love, while unearthing ancestral wisdom for womb wellness. She received her education from the University of Michigan-Flint, holding a Bachelor's in Communication Studies with a cognate in Women and Gender studies.
Klementina (Tina) Sula teaches networking, leadership and purpose at the University of Michigan. She is also a philanthropic advisor at the Jewish Federation of Detroit. She has experience in healthcare philanthropy, global philanthropy, international relations and diplomacy, and alumni and community engagement. She has a degree in political science, a master’s in public policy and a master’s in higher education—all from the University of Michigan. Tracy Kramer, a seasoned leader with 25 years of experience, is Director of Otolaryngology Surgical Services at Henry Ford Health. Recognized as one of Crain’s Detroit Business 2020 Notable Women in Healthcare and a 2019 America’s Essential Hospitals Fellow, she holds dual master's degrees in engineering and business from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to working in healthcare, Kramer spent 18 years in automotive manufacturing in various leadership and engineering positions.
Q (she/her) is a Program Manager at the University of Michigan Flint’s Intercultural Center. She works to create cross-cultural programs (both educational and co-curricular) centered around belonging, advocacy, and education. Q is a graduate of Adrian College with a Bachelor of Social Work. She also received two Masters degrees from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor one in Social Work and the other in Higher Education with a focus in Issues of Diversity and Social Justice in Higher Education. In addition Q has experience in facilitation, specifically in the area of Intergroup Dialogue.
Dr. Sancrant holds a Ph.D. in Leadership and Higher Education and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has served as a mental health counselor for 23 years and has held administrative roles in higher education for the past 12 years. She is certified in suicide prevention training and was actively involved in the Leaders for Trauma Informed Care Coalition in her county. She currently oversees health and wellbeing initiatives for the University of Michigan-Flint.
Stephanie Hare is a Hall Director within Housing and Residential Life at the University of Michigan-Flint. Stephanie received her Bachelor's degree in Professional Communication from the University of Michigan-Flint and her Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from Central Michigan University. Stephanie's passion and purpose is to support, guide and foster growth within others while generating joy and encouraging them to be their authentic selves.
