I served as the chair of the Scientific Organizing Committee for ERES XI, a conference for early-career exoplanet researchers. It was the first time hosting ERES at UMich, and we got the largest turnout yet with over a hundred participants! I organized abstract review and put together the scientific program. Since the beginning of 2025, several UMich Astronomy PhD students (myself included) have been giving astronomy presentations at local senior centers. Recently, one of these presentations got some coverage in the Sun Times News, a local paper, which is pretty neat! (photo credit: Sue Kelch)
