We will come together to view a documentary on cobalt mining in the Congo. The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), is a country in Central Africa. By land area, the DRC is the second-largest country in Africa and the 11th-largest in the world!

A two-part group field trip included visits to the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and the African American Cultural and Historical Museum of Washtenaw County. We'll have group discussions to debrief the learning experience, lunch, and dinner will be provided for participants.
