From McGraw to Midnights: A Retrospective of Taylor Swift’s Album Eras and Aesthetics

• This article is a breakdown of all of Taylor Swift's albums (from her debut [2006] to Midnights [2022] as well as some major accomplishments and some other things that occurred (relating to TS) around the times of those releases. This is helpful when discussing TS and acknowledging her hard work and accomplishments throughout the years. 

Taylor Swift, White Feminism, and the Illusion of Inclusivity

• This opinion piece focuses on TS and her take on feminism (white feminism) and how, instead of pursuing dismantling the system of oppression, she works to keep it in place to benefit her better. This article offers one form of opinion of TS, which i find helpful because I want to include a variety of opinions/perspectives on her and her actions.

• This piece talks about the impact of TS using her private jet, including the amount and price of fuel, the distance she traveled, and the amount of carbon dioxide she released. This is important because it offers factual value to my writing.

• This article discusses TS's accomplishments and achievements, as well as the hard work and effort she's put into her career. It even dives into some of her fears and worries about herself and her career. I find it a good article to support Taylor's success and achievements. 

Taylor Swift’s Feminist Evolution

• This piece discusses TS's timeline and how her understanding of feminism and support of the movement have moved/changed throughout the years. It's a piece in defense of TS, giving me one perspective on her to provide in my piece. 

Taylor Swift Finally Explains Why She’s a Feminist and How Lena Dunham Helped

• This piece discusses how and when TS revealed herself to be a feminist (and why) and her beliefs as to what feminism is and what it represents. This article explains how TS's version of feminism is white feminism and what that means. 

Feminist attacks on Taylor Swift reveal something very ugly about the movement

• This piece argues against believing TS is a white feminist and that modern feminists only speak for women who agree with them. I find this piece helpful for incorporating a different perspective/opinion on the topic.

• This piece talks about the increase in voter registration after TS posted a story about registering on her Instagram and offers statistics on the increase in voter registration. This piece is helpful for showing the influence that Taylor has when she does speak up about something.
