The S. Nagrath Lab at the University of Michigan is focused on the creation of the next generation of devices and platforms to aid in patient care, especially in cancer. The group develops and uses advanced Bio-MEMS tools understand the diagnostic and prognostic value of many different blood-based biomarkers including circulating tumor cells and tumor-derived exosomes. Our research is at the intersection of engineering and biology and includes collaborative efforts with clinicians to solve real world, complex problems with advanced solutions.
