Samantha Meister is a first year PhD student in Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) at the University of Michigan. She is working with Dr. Lawrence Seiford of the IOE Department and Dr. David Singer of the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department. Her research interests include applying operations research to the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering field, specifically in early stage ship design.
