I am a PhD student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, studying Linguistics with a focus on sociolinguistics, phonetics, and prosody.

My work is motivated by a passion for addressing inequities in systems of education and celebrating linguistic diversity. My research has focused on African American English, addressing linguistic discrimination within schools and in voice recognition and assessment technologies. I also plan to investigate diverse regional and language contact dynamics in Poland.
