A point of clarification that got buried in the "purpose" paragraph. There are many questions guiding you towards the creation of a personal mission statement. The ultimate goal is to create a 1-2 sentence personal mission.
We'll discuss in person on Wednesday how to approach incorporating this mission within your personal statement (which may not mean including the mission statement directly). Rather, how can we use this mission to guide our decisions (including academic and career choices) and how can the drive and purpose that we derive from that mission be conveyed in our statements?
