• Develop a mechanistic ODE framework to assess the rationale design of vaginal probiotic therapy by simulating various probiotic strains and treatment regimens against bacterial vaginosis (BV). 

• Evaluate key drivers of treatment failure against BV using local sensitivity analysis. 

• Create machine learning and deep learning models to predict BV occurrence post-menses and identify protective bacterial and metabolic signatures through time-series analysis. 

• Design patient-specific digital twin models, optimize model parameters with clinical data in a piecewise manner to enhance AI interpretability and prediction accuracy for BV-positive patients under different antibiotic or probiotic regimens. 

• Collaborate with a medical school lab to predict treatment outcomes and enhance AI interpretability in an oral microbiome project.
