For this lab, I was tasked with bringing an inexpensive and/or broken electronic into class and breaking or disassembling it in order to identify the various electronic components that make it work. The electronic I decided to use was a Mighty Bright LED book light that I had because it was old and broken. Contrary to my initial belief, breaking apart the electronic was somewhat difficult because the screws were stripped near the battery compartment, and I had to basically forcefully pry the other sections apart without breaking the electronic components inside. Furthermore, once I was finally able to disassemble the electronic, I struggled with identifying many of the electronic components since I did not have any previous knowledge of them and a majority of the parts didn't appear familiar based off of the ones I saw on the Internet. Overall, I found this to be the most difficult lab assignment of those that I completed during this course.
